Born in Los Angeles, raised in Boston. Groove Baby has been influenced from dance music back to her first Ultra CD mixed by Pete Tong in the early 2000’s. Her sound is influenced by the warm and vibrant grooves of the 90’s and 2000 dance classics blending the flows of diverse techno with soul, warmth, elegance and a touch of funk. Her formal understanding of DJing began in 2015 when GB auditioned for Tiesto and 7UP’s “Your Shot USA.” She was chosen as a Top 30 Contestant to compete with DJs/Producers from across America for a slot at Ultra Miami 2016. During this period GB received lessons from Jono Fernandez, which sharpened her skills and put her in the mix for the winner. Within the last few years Groove Baby has had the opportunity to play international booking in Matanzas, Cuba at Galaxia nightclub, Elixir in Orlando, Therapy After-hours in Providence, and to work with luxury brands such as Christian Louboutin, Burton, Clif Bar & more. GB has opened for various DJs in Boston’s biggest nightclubs such as Whiskey Saigon, and Cure Lounge and 603 Lounge in Portsmouth. Now she is playing at venues like Spruzzo, Rosa Sky and YOLO.
